New Port Richey, FL . . . Foodservice Equipment & Supplies (FE&S) magazine just released the results of its annual Best in Class Survey last night and this year four Manitowoc Foodservice brands have won prestigious 2016 Overall Best in Class Awards in 6 categories.

The winning Manitowoc Foodservice brands are:
  • Cleveland in three categories - Braising Pans/Tilting Skillets, Steam Jacketed Kettles, and Steamers

  • Lincoln for Conveyor Ovens

Best in Class 2016As a group, Manitowoc Foodservice outpaced the competition by being recognized in six (6) categories of Heavy Duty Equipment. Each of our deserving brands has done an exceptional job of demonstrating the reliability and adaptability of their products in the foodservice marketplace.

Throughout the sixteen (16) years that FE&S has championed the Best in Class Survey, Manitowoc Ice has never given up the top spot of Overall Best in Class in their category.

How the survey was conducted?

During the past few months FE&S polled its subscribing foodservice operators, dealers and consultants, asking them to evaluate equipment and supplies manufacturers on seven critical characteristics that impact their purchasing decisions.

These seven performance factors are:
  • Product quality
  • Product value
  • Product design and aesthetics
  • Service and support
  • Sales representation
  • Product inventory and availability
  • Product information availability

Those participating in the survey prioritized these factors in order of importance and then rated the individual factories they work with in a given product category on these attributes. The individual results were combined with those from other participants from the category to create a composite score and identify those manufacturers that the readers of FE&S feel are the Best in Class for each of these product categories.
